Renato Viégas,  ocupa desde o início do ano a Presidência da Emplasa – Empresa Paulista de Planejamento.

Diplomado na Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, do Mackenzie, em 1967, ingressou na Cia do Metrô em 1972.

 

Desenvolveu então sua carreira no setor público:

v  Na Secretaria de Transportes Metropolitanos ocupou a Coordenadoria de Planejamento e Gestão.

v  Foi Diretor de Planejamento de Transportes do Metrô onde, anteriormente ocupou os cargos de Gerente de Operações de Projeto e  de Planejamento, além de ser autor de projetos de arquitetura de diversas estações, alguns premiados.

v  Trabalhou também na CPTM onde foi Gerente de Projetos e de Planejamento.

 

Roberto Botelho

Roberto Botelho, MD,PhD, is the director of the Triangulo Heart Institute and also of its Interventional Cardiology and Clinical Research Divisions.. Dr. Botelho received his Medical Degree From Triangulo Mineiro Federal University School of Medicine. He completed his residency, and fellowship at Dante Pazzanese Heart Institute, in Sao Paulo and his Ph.D at the University of Sao Paulo School of Medicine. He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Dante Pazzanese Heart Institute. The Scholars In Clinical Trials Course from Harvard University School of Medicine certified Dr. Botelho on 2008. Dr. Botelho is the president of the International Telemedical Systems ITMS. Dr. Botelho sits on the reviews boards of the International Journal of Cardiology and also for the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Interventional Cardiology. He is a member of the Ethical Review Board of the Uberlandia Federal University. He is co-author of more than 50 published peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts and 10 book chapters. Dr. Botelho also directs the Triangulo Heart Institute Research Division and is principal investigator for over 30 ongoing multicenter clinical and device studies within the research laboratory. Over the past 5 years, these trials have included a broad array of new technology, including bare metal stents, drug-eluting stents, bioresorbable polimers, bioresorbable vascular scaffold, Nitinol, electrical released, self expandable stent platforms, several new molecules, like Ticagrelor, Cangrelor, Apixaban, Otamixaban, Aleglitazar, Saxagliptin, Alogliptin, Dronedarone, Dalcetrapid, and Technical new approaches as radial approach for interventional cardiology. Dr. Botelho s primary clinical interest is currently acute coronary syndromes.


Susan Zielinski

Susan Zielinski is Managing Director of SMART. Just before joining SMART/CARSS, Susan spent a year as a Harvard Loeb Fellow focusing on New Mobility innovation and leadership. Prior to 2004, she co-founded and directed Moving the Economy (MTE), a Canada-wide “link tank” that works to catalyze and support sustainable urban transportation innovation as well as New Mobility industry development, an integrated industry approach developed at MTE. As a transportation planner for the City of Toronto, she worked for over 15 years developing and leading transportation and liveability policies and initiatives. She has advised on a range of local, national, and international initiatives, including the National Advisory Committee on Energy Efficiency, Transport Canada’s Sustainable Development Advisory Committee, the Gridlock Panel of the Ontario Smart Growth Initiative, the OECD’s Environmentally Sustainable Transport (EST) Project, the King of Sweden’s jury of the Stockholm Partnerships for Sustainable Cities, and the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT). She was also a long-time board member of Canada’s Center for Sustainable Transportation and founding board member of the Green Tourism Association.

 

Dale Alverson, MD - University of New Mexico

Dr. Alverson is a Professor of Pediatrics and Regents’ Professor on faculty at the University of New Mexico (UNM), School of Medicine. He is the Director of the Center for Telehealth and Cybermedicine Research at UNM. In that role, he has been involved in the planning, implementation, research and evaluation of Telemedicine systems for New Mexico. The UNM Center for Telehealth was given the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) President’s Institutional Award for its efforts in advancing telehealth locally, nationally, and internationally. He has been involved in several ongoing international collaborative telehealth initiatives including Ecuador, India, Nepal, and Korea.

 

He is on the Board of the New Mexico Telehealth Alliance. He is also on the Board of LCF Research in New Mexico addressing the advancement and meaningful use of health information exchange, adoption of electronic health records, and integration with telemedicine.

 

Nationally, he is the Immediate Past President of ATA and is also on the Boards of the Center for Telehealth and e-Health Law, and Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation.

 

Tom Murcott

Giselle Clara Ricur

Giselle Clara Ricur is the chair of the International SIG within the American Telemedicine Association and the Chair of the ICT and Education within the Argentinean Council of Opthamology. Dr. Ricur recieved her medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo’s Medical School. Daniel Fung

danielfung_150x197.jpgDaniel Fung, P.Eng. is the founder of RT Traffic, a startup with goals of combining real-time transport information and mobile systems by providing location-based mobile applications and productivity tools primarily for the transportation industry.  In addition, RT Traffic provides traffic and transport intelligence / monitoring / analytics and telematics solutions / consulting services.  Prior to RT Traffic, Daniel practiced traffic engineering and transport planning in the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong, as a Professional Engineer (Canadian) specializing in public transport, traffic analysis and highway / roadway design.  Aside from the transport industry, Daniel has also worked in the information technology startup sector and is a cofounder of the StartupsHK association in Hong Kong.

 

 

 

Victor Manuel Gonzalez Romero

Dr. Victor M. Gonzalez has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Guadalajara and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.

He was the executive Vice-President  (1993-

1995) and the General President of the University of Guadalajara, the second largest in México, from 1995 to 2001. He also was the President of the Commission for the Defense of the University Autonomy from the Union of Latin American Universities (UDUAL) and member of the National Association of Universities (ANUIES).

 

He is a consultant in topics related to learning technologies, quantitative methods in education, leadership and strategic planning and key performance indicators.

 

He has been a guest speaker for many institutions, some of his main conferences has been: The University of the Future, Quality in Higher Education, Means and Forms for Learning in the XXI Century, Strategic Planning and Higher Education in Jalisco. He has published more than 150 articles and directed more than 60 research theses in materials science, mathematics and education. He revolutionized the learning system at the University of Guadalajara, using Internet-ba

sed collaborative learning and the information system of the State of Jalisco developing systems for “Dynamic Transparency”.

 

Currently he is the Minister of Planning of the Government of Jalisco since March 1, 2007. In addition, he coordinates the “Red Estatal eJalisco”, a government project intended to increase the digital inclusion for the people and institutions in the State of Jalisco, regarding eEducation, eHealth, eGoverment, among others.

 

Oscar Edmundo Diaz

 

Oscar Edmundo Diaz holds a BA in Finance and International Affairs from Externado University in Bogotá, Colombia and a Masters degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City. He has over 12 years of experience working on transportation projects for both the government and the non-profit sectors. Mr. Diaz is Co-Founder & President of GSD+, a Bogotá-based management consulting firm that focuses on strategies for institutional transformation, regulation, financial sustainability, the implementation of new technologies and processes optimization.

 

Mr. Diaz has worked directly with over 30 governments in cities worldwide in the implementation of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems and its integration with Non-Motorized Transport (NMT), planning of bicycle paths, Car Free Days and Car Free Sundays as well as public spaces planning and improvement. He has also conducted studies on BRT financing, mainly for Chinese

cities and developed financial models for BRT projects. Mr. Diaz has managed BRT and NMT implementation projects in Mexic

o City, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina, Asunción, Paraguay, Cartagena, Colombia and Cape Town, South Africa. He has also been involved in BRT projects in Jakarta, Indonesia, Guatemala City, Guatemala and Johannesburg, South Africa. He has also provided technical assistance to improve Bogota’s TransMilenio’s operations and its financial structure.

 

Cities Mr. Diaz has worked with on the implementation of BRT systems and its integration with NMT are: Guangzhou (China); New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad (India); Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya (Indonesia); Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) Accra (Ghana), Dakar (Senegal); Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil); Guadalajara, Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez,
Mexico City, Veracruz (Mexico); Guatemala City (Guatemala); Managua (Nicaragua), San Jose (Costa Rica), Lima (Peru), Quito (Ecuador) and over 10 Colombian cities. Mr. Diaz was part of the Global Environmental Facility’s Science and Technology Advisory Panel (STAP) in Nairobi in 2002 and a member of the UN-HABITAT Group of Experts in Basic Public Services in G

Jonathan Rose

With current projects including the 20 year expansion masterplan for the University of Cambridge and the realisation of Singapore Sports Hub, Jonathan is a Principal at AECOM and a European Masterplanning Practice Leader.

 

Since 2003, AECOM’s Design + Planning London practice has played a leading role in both the London 2012 Olympic and Legacy Communities masterplan, at the heart of their wider contribution to the regeneration of East London.  Current work in Brasil also includes the masterplan for Nova Luz, a major urban regeneration initiative in central Sao Paulo.

 

Jonathan’s other work has included a new international conference centre promoted by the Mayor and London Development Agency, a new central urban quarter for the historic city of York and the concept masterplan for the rejuvenation of Cardiff City Core.

Formerly, Jonathan was a practice principal and architect at Arup, where he led a broad range of projects through all stages of development. His portfolio of projects included work on the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station in London, the masterplan for a new university campus in Sri Lanka and the Award-winning Druk White Lotus School in Ladakh, in which he continues his involvement as a trustee.

While at Arup New York, Jonathan was masterplan architect for Fulton Street Transit Center and a design opportunities team leader for 2nd Avenue Subway. He was also design principal for the New Queen's Hall, a project which seeks to provide a world–class symphony hall for London.
